Bulgaristan federal Avrupa istiyor

Bulgaristan Cumhurbaşkanı Rumen Radev tarafından ülkedeki erken parlamento seçimlerin hazırlamak üzere atanan teknokratlar hükümetinin Başbakanı Ognyan Gercikov, Avrupa'nın geleceğinin federalizmle yönetildiğinde daha başarılı olacağına inandığını söyledi.
Kırcaali Haber Gazetesi’nde yer alan habere göre; Sofya'da görev yapan yabancı ülkelerin büyükelçilerini, çarlık döneminden kalma buharlı lokomotifli trenine bindiren Gercikov, seyahat sırasında Avrupa Komisyonu Başkanı Jean Claude Jünker'in Avrupa Birliği'nin (AB) geleceğine ilişkin açıklamalarını değerlendirdi.
Başbakan Gercikov, AB'nin, federal bir sistem seçmediği taktirde, ABD, Çin ve Hindistan gibi güçlü ekonomilerle rekabet edemeyeceğine inandığını belirterek, "Federalizmle yönetildiğinde, Avrupa'nın geleceğinin daha başarılı olacağına inanıyorum." dedi.
Bulgaristan'ın Avro Bölgesine katılmak üzere yıllardır beklediğini aktaran Gercikov, "Bulgaristan'ın bu sürecin neresindedir diye sorarsanız, biz asla AB'nin arka bahçesinde kalmayı kabul etmeyiz. Dolayısıyla Avro Bölgesine girmek üzere girişimlerimizi sürdüreceğiz.” ifadesini kullandı.
Gercikov, “Bulgaristan'ın bu süreçte hangi viteste hareket edeceğini şimdiden tahmin etmek zor, çünkü bu yöndeki diplomatik çalışmalarımız sürüyor.” diye konuştu.

According to the news in the Kardzhali News Newspaper, Gercikov, who took over the ambassadors of foreign countries serving in Sofia on a steam locomotives train from the tsarist period, assessed the European Commission President Jean Claude Junker's explanation of the future of the European Union (EU) during the trip.
Prime Minister Gercikov said he believes the EU will not be able to compete with strong economies such as the US, China and India if it does not choose a federal system. "I believe that the future of Europe will be more successful when it is governed by federalism." said.
"If you ask Bulgaria where it is in this process, we will never agree to stay in the backyard of the EU, so we will continue our attempts to enter the Euro Zone," Gercikov said, adding that Bulgaria has been waiting for years to join the Eurozone.
"It is difficult to predict what vitality the Bulgarian state will move in this process, because our diplomatic efforts in this direction are continuing," Gercikov said.
