AB Bulgaristan’a düşük not verdi

İlginç olan ise bu sonuçları Bulgaristan’ın gerçekçi ve objektif bularak, kabullenmesi oldu.
2007 yılında üye olduğundan bu yana Bulgaristan’ı gözlemleyen Avrupa Birliği, 10 yıllık gözlem raporu sonucunu yayınladı. Sonuçlarda ilk göze çarpan, ülkede medya ortamındaki eksikliklerin dile getirilmesiyle ilgili tavsiye oldu. Rapor sonucunda; Bulgar medyasının bağımsızlık oranının yeterli düzeyde olmadığı vurgulanırken, gazetecilik standartlarının düşük olmasının reformlar konusunda toplumsal çelişkiler yarattığı belirtildi.
Bunun yanısıra resmi makamların rüşvet, yolsuzluk ve örgütlü suçlarla yeterince müdahale etmediği de raporda yer aldı. Ülkedeki ilerlemenin “yetersiz” ibaresiyle dile getirildiği raporda, AB, Bulgaristan'dan adalet, yolsuzlukla ve örgütlü suçlarla mücadele alanlarında 17 maddeden oluşan somut reform istedi.
Raporla ilgili ilk açıklama Bulgaristan Adalet Bakanı Ekaterine Zaharieva’dan geldi. Sonuçların gerçekçi ve objektif olduğunu dile getiren bakan, sadece AB tavsiyesi olduğu için değil, toplum olarak olması gereken yere ulaşmak için tüm eksikliklerin giderilmesi gerektiğini kaydetti. AB’nin bu yılın sonunda bir rapor daha düzenleyeceği açıklandı.

The first thing that multiplied the result was the advice about the media in the country voicing of deficiencies. As a result of the report; While it is emphasized that the rate of independence of the Bulgarian media is not sufficient, it is stated that the low journalistic standards create social contradictions about the reforms.
In addition, it was reported that official authorities did not interfere sufficiently with bribery, corruption and organized crime. The rapporteur, whose progress in the country is expressed by the words of the "”inefficient”, requested a concrete reform of 17 items from the EU in the fields of fighting justice, corruption and organized crime.
The first explanation for the report came from Bulgaria's Justice Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva. He noted that the results are realistic and objective, noting that not only is it an EU recommendation, but that all deficiencies must be addressed in order to reach the required level of community. It was announced that the EU would issue another report at the end of this year.
