Makedonya, NATO üyesi olacak

Balkanların önemli ülkelerinden Makedonya’nın, NATO üyeliği konusu yeniden gün yüzüne çıktı. Edinilen bilgilere göre NATO genel sekreteri, üyelik sürecinin detaylarını konuşmak üzere önümüzdeki ay Üsküp’e gidecek. Bunun yanı sıra Amerika’nın da üyeliğine tam destek verdiği Makedonya’ya bazı koşullar sunduğu, devlet yöneticilerinin de bunları kabul ettiği öne sürülüyor. İlerleyen süreç, Makedonya’nın NATO üyeliği yolunda hangi adımları atacağını gösterecek.
NATO, Makedonya’yı bünyesine katmayı planlıyor. Bazı kaynakların edindiği bilgilere göre kuruluşun Genel Sekreteri Jens Stoltenberg, Temmuz ayında ülkenin başkenti Üsküp'e bir ziyaret gerçekleştirecek ve bu konuyu siyasilerle masaya yatıracak. Hedef ise Makedonya’nın 2018’in ortalarında NATO üyesi olması. Analizcilere göre Makedonya’nın üyeliğine açık destek veren ABD, büyükelçilik kanalıyla Savunma Bakanı Zoran Jolevski ile bu konuyu konuştu. ABD’nin Makedonya’dan bu üyelik için bazı tavizler vermesini istediği, ülkenin de bunu kabul ettiği konuşuluyor.

Macedonia will become NATO member

According to information received, the NATO secretary general will go to Skopje next month to discuss details of the membership process. In addition to this, Macedonia has given some conditions, where the US also fully supports its membership, and it is claimed that the state administrators accept them. The upcoming process will show what steps Macedonia will take towards NATO membership. NATO is planning to integrate Macedonia into its territory. According to some sources, Jens Stoltenberg, General Secretary of the Foundation, will make a visit to the country's capital, Skopje, in July, and will put this issue on the table with politics. The goal is that Macedonia will be a NATO member by the middle of 2018. According to analysts, the US, who openly supported Macedonia's membership, spoke with the ambassador's channel and Defense Minister Zoran Jolevski. It is said that the US wants Macedonia to make some concessions for this membership, and the country accepts it.
